[...] Susanne has checked into Media Bistro’s Travel Writing Boot Camp, but has time enough to offer a culinary itinerary vis-a-vis a recap of her friend’s recent visit to NYC. Kudos, as well for my favorite new opening line in a blog: I think Argentina’s stalking me. [...]

1) Glad to hear you're taking the Travel Writing Boot Camp course ... are you the star pupil?

2) Just dropped in to see what you've been writing after a very busy CELTA course. This is the first of your blogs I've read in a while, and it's a bit like torture for culinary-deprived expats fiending for the NYC restaurant culture.

I truly love reading all these stories about your life experiences. They make me feel as if I am there with you. Walter has just start reading a couple of these and he is impressed. We have so much laughter , tears and excitement. Thank you for sharing these great stories. Suzanne keep the faith and have patience for the right job will come along. Continue to knock on all the doors you can because it is all in God's time, not ours. I keep telling Stephanie to accept and be grateful for what she has in the present moment because life has a way of working itself to what it is you need and where you need to be. Please do the same. Much love and care from all of us.

A shame Gaga is not here to know you.I know she would be extremely proud of your accomplishments. It is like you came from the same mold as her. I loved hearing you laugh in the video.

She definitely would have been proud of you -- she always wished I had more ambition! That's why she loved Auntie Bee, my adventurous friend. Too bad you weren't born two years earlier so you and she could have known each other.

Are you telling me you found a pizza as good as ours? So what was on the white one,no sauce or anything, just the veggies?Sounds like it would be like eating a pepper sandwich.I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the ales. Those are my preferences when I can get them.I have some Sam Adams in the refigerator so we will have to tip a few when next you are home. We'll do that in place of tea.
Really missing you & praying that something will turn up for you soon.

Love,Dad

from one freelance writer to another-I understand the importance of getting out of a city apt. I just heard about gramstand (although I am in Philadelphia) but read wonderful reviews and look forward to visiting there the next time I am in NYC. I am always on the look out for creative places to get work done and anywhere with great tea.
I actually blogged about gramstand-as they are trying to win $10,000 from ideablob.com for renovations.

You work sounds fabulous, good luck with everything!
